Instructions

Wet your face.

Apply 3 pumps s of Carrot Cleanser to your hand and massage to cleanse your skin.

Wipe your face with a lukewarm wet cloth in soft, circular movements.

You can choose to only cleanse in the evening and skip it in the morning, if the skin has been properly cleansed the night before.

The Carrot Cleanser can be used safely to remove eye makeup.

Please note that the Carrot Cleanser cleanses and nourishes your skin, rather than just cleansing it. After cleansing, you will see that your face has a glow, because it is clean and nourished with vitamins.

Good to know: you no longer have to buy cotton pads or make-up wipes, because you only need a warm wet cloth to remove all dirt, make-up and eye make-up.

The Carrot Cleanser has a shelf life of 30 months after production. Check the best before date on the bottom. Shelf life 6 months after opening.

Scent

A natural scent has been added to the Tomato Base Cream and Carrot Cleanser that has an invigorating effect, but we have consciously chosen not to add a natural scent to the serums, so that it can also be applied around the eyes and they are super mild products. The serums smell like the ingredients smell, this is often described as 'earthy'. Mix it with a little Tomato Base Cream if you are looking for a scent experience, otherwise the scent will dissipate within a few minutes.

The essential oils cardamom, myrrh and lemon grass have been added to our Tomato Base Cream and Carrot Cleanser. In addition to scent, these oils have other beautiful effects, for both your psyche and your skin.

Lemongrass

Lemongrass is a real boost because of the spicy lemon aroma. It dispels lethargy and despondency and gives strength when you feel weak. It has a strengthening, cooling and unclogging effect on your skin.

Myrrh

Myrrh oil repairs the skin and has an anti-inflammatory effect. In warm weather, myrrh has a slightly cooling effect on the skin. In addition, it has a calming and soothing effect.

Cardamom

Cardamom has an antibacterial effect. It provides refreshing energy, calms tense nerves and helps to process tension better. It strengthens your mental concentration and clears blockages.

Cleansing oil for the face

Cleansing is the most important step in your skincare routine. As far as we are concerned, it is best to do this with a mild oil-based facial cleanser. This does not dry out your skin. Many foaming cleansers contain soap, which can unbalance your skin's pH level and leave you feeling tight. You then need a toner to restore the pH value. Our Carrot Cleanser keeps your pH value in balance. This means you won't suffer from irritated eyelids or dried out, tight skin after cleansing.

Oil Cleanser from Food for Skin

Our Carrot Cleanser is a super mild, nourishing and restorative cleansing oil for your face. The Carrot Cleanser cleans and inhibits inflammation through its antibacterial effect. The Carrot Cleanser not only cleanses your skin, but directly helps with cell renewal. After cleansing you will see that your face has a glow, because it is clean and nourished with vitamins.

The oils we use in our products have been carefully selected and are non-comedogenic. This means that it does not clog the skin. The oils are cold pressed, which preserves valuable nutrients.

Use facial cleanser

If you are not used to cleaning with an oil cleanser, it may take some getting used to! Our tip: wet the skin first so that the oil is distributed very easily over the skin. After wetting your face, apply one or two pumps to your skin and massage thoroughly to cleanse your skin. Wipe your face with a lukewarm, wet cloth in soft, circular movements. You can use our washable facial wipes for this. These have a waffle structure, which also immediately removes dead skin cells. Make sure you do this with gentle movements, do not scrub!

The Carrot Cleanser can be safely used to remove (waterproof) eye makeup. You no longer have to buy cotton balls or make-up wipes. All you need is this facial cleansing oil and a warm wet cloth to remove all dirt, makeup and eye makeup. Do you use quite a bit of makeup? Then you can perform the above steps twice (double cleanse).

Even wennen, maar dan niet meer anders

Geweldig! Het is even wennen, het duurde bij mij echt wel twee weken, maar ik ben overtuigd. Mijn huis is schoon, zacht, trekt niet. Ik geniet van het moment én de geur die heel puur is. Ik heb inmiddels een groot exemplaar aangeschaft.

We zijn ontzettend blij om te horen dat je fan bent geworden van het product, na een paar weken wennen. Het kan inderdaad zijn dat je huid langer moet wennen aan nieuwe producten, daarom hebben we ook de proefsetjes zodat je die 3 weken kunt proberen om te kijken of het wat voor jou is. Insiders tip: verzorging droge huid scheenbenen

Gebruik dit al jaren als gezichtsreiniger, maar na jullie tip uit de nieuwsbrief nu ook tijdens het douchen voor de verzorging van m’n scheenbenen. Fantastisch!

Heerlijke reinigende olie

De geur, het gevoel, het effect, allemaal heerlijk! Ik gebruik deze al een aantal jaar met veel genot. Zowel onder de douche als gewoon na het natmaken van m'n gezicht en met een katoenen wattenschijfje. Loveit!

Zo leuk dat je al een paar jaar fan bent! En inderdaad onder de douche ook hier een favoriet momentje. Dankjewel!

Hele fijne reiniger die zowel de huid voed als kalmeert.

Daarom zijn wij ook zo'n fan van het product. Wel een andere manier van reinigen dan je misschien gewend bent, maar je krijgt zeker meer voor terug!

Reinigt en voedt

Ik heb een best droge huid, en als ik altijd zeep/foaming cleansers gebruik wordt mijn huid er altijd erg droog van. Deze cleanser daarentegen laat mijn huid gevoed achter. Het is super effectief om zonnebrand en make-up te verwijderen.

Reinigen met olie....

Reinigen met olie leek me naar niks. Toch nieuwsgierig geprobeerd en ik ben om. Werkt fantastisch, geen agressieve troep op mijn gevoelige huid. Fijn product.

Dit klopt helemaal! Met olie reinigen is zeker anders, maar het doet alles wat die zou moeten doen. Reiningen, voeden en daarom erg geschikt voor de gevoelige huid. Fijn dat het bevalt!

Doet z’n werk

Veel cleansers droger m’n huid uit maar deze hydrateert en reinigt m’n huid tegelijk. Super!

Klopt wat je aangeef, het is even schakelen als je andere reinigers gewend bent. Vanaf januari heeft hij een nieuwe glazen verpakking waarbij je met dit pompje nog beter de hoeveelheid kunt doseren.

Erg fijne cleanser

Wat een rijke cleanser is dit!! Het voelt echt alsof alles lekker schoongemaakt wordt, waarbij het na het verwijderen met wat warm water er een zachte laag op de huid achterblijft, ipv een droge en trekkerige huid wat ik normaal zou hebben. Je merkt dat het troepvrij is, omdat mijn huid er goed op reageert. Het ruikt ook lekker! Dit is al heel lang een blijvertje :-)

Fijn dat de Carrot cleanser op alle facetten goed voelt, dankjewel voor deze mooie review
